Central Norfolk’s District Activities

We are very lucky in Central Norfolk to have a wide selection of activities we can move around the District for the benefit of our groups.

You can book these activities online here

Shooting

  • Team Leader – Sue Flood
  • Age range – Cub and above

We are very fortunate to own 9 Air Rifles and 2 Pistols which are cared for by Sue.

This equipment can be hired by any of the District Groups with a payment of £10. For a extra payment Sue can also provide pellets and paper cards. If you are qualified you can hire just the equipment or Sue can arrange for instructors to run the activity for you.

Sue is very experienced in the skill of Air Rifle shooting and can help the young people develop this skill right up to National Shooting standards as she regularly visits the home of UK Shooting at Bisley.

This equipment can be booked using the electronic booking form or by downloading the booking form.

Sue also runs annual competitions for Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.

These are held by Sue Flood and the booking form should be used to book them.

The District is very lucky to own 12 bows, 3 left handed the rest right with various draw strengths to offer Archery taster sessions from Beavers through to Explorers. We also offer adults the opportunity to ‘give it a go’.

Currently we have two target bosses allowing 4 people to shoot at any one time, for next season we will have 4 bosses allowing 8 people to shoot at any one time.
I am happy to come to your HQ if you have the space or I can provide archery as an activity as part of your camp.
