About Us

Central Norfolk is home nearly 400 young people, 10 groups, 4 Explorer units and many passionate and enthusiastic leaders and other adult volunteers dedicated to inspire and develop young people.

The Central district is located at the heart of the wonderful county of Norfolk.

Created from parts of the old Mid Norfolk and Fakenham Districts around 15 years ago, Central Norfolk covers around 650 Sq miles from Mattishall to Marham to Wells-next-the-sea and despite its flat claim if you walked our district boundary you would of ascended 2800 ft.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
