Welcome to Central Norfolk District Scouts

Central Norfolk District is located at the heart of the wonderful county of Norfolk and is home to nearly 400 young people, 10 Groups, 4 Explorer Units, 2 Camp Sites and many passionate and enthusiastic leaders and other adult volunteers dedicated to inspire and develop young people.

Created from parts of the old Mid Norfolk and Fakenham Districts around 15 years ago, Central Norfolk covers from Mattishall to Marham to Wells-next-the-sea. The District takes part in many activities such St George’s Day, District camps, wide games, Christmas parties, shooting competition and the Scouts Dragon Slayers Hike. You may start off by joining one of the Groups but will soon be part of a far bigger Scouting community.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
